Baxta, the newest Aussie pet app, is offering $1,000 to find Australia’s funniest pet, with the aim of adding some much-needed fun and laughter back into 2020.
Whether your pet is furry and funny, scaly and silly or is just plain talented, Baxta is encouraging pet parents to find out whether they have Australia’s funniest pet, via its competition, Baxta’s Funniest Video.
Starting today, pet owners who post their original videos to Instagram tagging @baxtapets could get shortlisted to win one of two prizes.
The $1,000 Grand Prize will be awarded for the funniest video of the competition. Out of all video submissions entered before the closing date, three will be shortlisted by the Baxta team, which will then be put to an audience vote via Baxta’s Instagram account. Entrants can also win weekly prizes of $200, for the most creative video of the week chosen by the Baxta team.

4. Tag @baxtapets + #BaxtaFunniestVideo when you publish your video on Instagram
The competition closes on 28 September 11:59pm (AEST).
The owner of Australia’s funniest pet will win the Grand Prize, with the video to be shared via Baxta’s social channels and sent to media to help spread the laughs.
